To be With You

as the sun sets in the evening
darkness covers the blanket
i can no longer ignore the feelings
it entices my entire being
to be with you

as the snow starts to fall
the clouds get large and full
i have no time to stall
i have to give it my all
to be with you

as the morning sun kisses the sky
full with an array of colors
for thats where the dark shadows hide
to myself i can no longer lie
to be with you

like a trophy at the end of a race
the winner received his prize
these feelings i must now face
so i can now have my place
to be with you
